The Gray In-Between is an installation created in collaboration with Hilal Uzuner, Dakota Mokhammad, and Esmina Merks. The project jumps into the complex topic of self-acceptance within the western world and explores the gray areas that exist within cultures.

 

Through research on the experiences and perspectives of our parents and ancestors, the installation asks the viewer to reflect and spark conversations.

 

Four distinct stories, united by themes of confusion, pain, and homesickness, are woven together to create a powerful and immersive experience.
